Tras el éxito del pasado año, Espinosa de los Monteros acogerá este sábado, 9 de julio, una “II Quedada Motera” que prevé la asistencia de entre 200 y 250 moteros llegados de diferentes puntos de la provincia y de otros lugares del país.
Se realizarán dos rutas diferentes, con el objetivo de que conozcan el entorno y el paisaje de esta parte de Burgos, además de actividades de convivencia.

La "quedada" se iniciará en la Plaza Mayor de Espinosa de los Monteros, a partir de las 10:00 h, donde todavía podrán inscribirse los moteros que no lo hayan hecho. En torno a las 12:00 h comenzará la primera ruta, por diferentes zonas de las Merindades, y tras tapear algo por algunos bares concertados y una comida organizada se volverá a salir en ruta, a las 17:00 h. La organización ha previsto una zona de acampada gratuita para los moteros que deseen pasar la noche, además de concertar descuentos en diferentes establecimientos hosteleros de la zona.
Según explica Sergio Mena, uno de los responsables de la organización, se prevé la asistencia de más de doscientos moteros, algunos llegados de ciudades como Sevilla, quienes conocerán los encantos de Espinosa de los Monteros y alrededores, disfrutando a la vez de la moto. Las rutas que se van a realizar discurrirán por lugares tranquilos y podrán participar vehículos de cualquier cilindrada.
